Default Firmer or molar removing jarring ;-)?

Never drove a 2013 z06...
Can I assume it's "streetable track feel' as opposed to "smooth track only, you'll feel every pebble on the road"?

The z51 sway bar w/ new links might be sweet on a vette w/ 80k miles too!

I have the Z06 shocks and Z51 sways. They are streetable track feel as you say. Firmer than Bilstein Sports but not punishing at all.

You will feel a big diff because at 80k your OEM shocks are not doing much at all. Mine were wore out at 40k. I am at 175k and on my 5th set of shocks.

Going with this setup sounds like a huge Improvement over my worn shocks and squeaky rear end leak links.

I was just kicking around some numbers :
2008 convertible weighs 3246 pounds runs 245 in the front 285 in the rear w/ 435 horsepower.
the 2013 Z06 weighs 3175 pounds and runs 285 in the front 335 in the rear w/ 505 hp.

I'm crystal balling it here... for the 2013 ZO6 there's more Tire (stickier too), less weight ... maybe you can get away with a way firmer shock...

I'll assume was the 2013 Z06 setup ( Shox+Z51 sway) don't leave me to too wild unpredictable setup given 'on paper' 2008 setup...

Z06 has a larger diameter sway bar on the rear than the Z51....front bars are the same. Rear bar affects the front tires, that is why the smaller diameter Z51 rear bar is recommended for base tires.

I ran rear Z06 bar for some time and it is much more centered to drive. Takes more force to turn the wheel. Also there is little to no warning before grip is lost. Z51 sways give much more warning.

Exactly right! That is why we never recommend a z06 rear bar on a non widebody car

I don't have a wide body but I do have Z06 size tires front and rear (see picture) so can I assume that I should order the Z06 package? I have the F55 suspension on my 2007 which had the Z51 brake package but the base sway bars and would like to upgrade.

Got a set of each on the way for my base model. Can't wait to try them out on track!

Haven't been on track day, but sways and shocks just installed. I did notice an improvement going over bumps/potholes.

Evidently my base shocks with almost 80K miles were pretty dead lol

I'll be replacing shocks at shorter intervals from now on

Gene/Patrick I don't know anyone better than you as the top GM parts vendors on the forum to ask this too...but will 08 F55 shocks work on an 06 F55 car? What year F55's are compatible across the C6 generation? Thanks in advance...

Just did my first road race today. Holy jeebus, the change is unreal. I have a very different car now. The cornering is phenomenal and I was very giddy all 4 sessions. This has to be one of the very most rewarding upgrades I've done to my base Vette. If you enjoy corner carving and don't want to spend thousands...don't worry because you don't have to. This combo is outstanding!!

Just wanted to provide my feedback. Bought the Z51 sway bar kit from Cultrag, and installed it with Bilstein HD shocks. Very happy with the setup, a notecable difference in how my 2013 Base Coupe rides and handles.

Very happy with Cultrag, and highly recommend..

You will feel a big diff because at 80k your OEM shocks are not doing much at all. Mine were wore out at 40k. I am at 175k and on my 5th set of shocks.
How did you test yours to determine they were done? I have read a lot but a central idea hasn't really emerged.

I am at 50k mi (22k personally, mainly highway)

Generally as long as they are not leaking and moving freely by todays standards they are still good
