CD Player on NAVI not playing
2005 with NAV, cd player not playing. I have cleaned the player with cd lance cleaner and only play for a few hours. Do i need a new hole unit or just the cd player?

There is an exchange service which could save you money.
Don't forget your "unlock" code.
The Nav unit w/ CD is one unit...so the entire component is replaced.
If the player isn't working you have these DIY steps before removing.
1) Disconnect battery and reattach after a few minutes.
Don't forget to re-index your windows etc.
2) Blow air into the CD slot and use the Disk cleaner again.
3) Make sure to test with a brand new music CD not a "burned" one.
4) Is your NAV map CD working?

Same thing has happened to me several time in the last almost 10 years. I agree with the above, disconnect the battery for ten seconds and reattach. It's worked for me every time.

My CD player with the NAV unit is very picky about playing CD's, not sure it's just dusty, or the drive is temperamental.
