Default CD Player on NAVI not playing

2005 with NAV, cd player not playing. I have cleaned the player with cd lance cleaner and only play for a few hours. Do i need a new hole unit or just the cd player?

Thank

There is an exchange service which could save you money.
Don't forget your "unlock" code.

The Nav unit w/ CD is one unit...so the entire component is replaced.

If the player isn't working you have these DIY steps before removing.
1) Disconnect battery and reattach after a few minutes.
Don't forget to re-index your windows etc.
2) Blow air into the CD slot and use the Disk cleaner again.
3) Make sure to test with a brand new music CD not a "burned" one.
4) Is your NAV map CD working?

Good luck

Same thing has happened to me several time in the last almost 10 years. I agree with the above, disconnect the battery for ten seconds and reattach. It's worked for me every time.

I thought the NAV map is a DVD, not CD, with a different drive?

My CD player with the NAV unit is very picky about playing CD's, not sure it's just dusty, or the drive is temperamental.
