05, 07 and a 2012 GS. Not one issue with gas unless you try to top it off.

If it's gonna bother you then avoid the C6. I've had an 06,09,12 and none have leaked. I had a C5 that leaked. So go buy yourself a C4 and be happy!

BTW, I'm sure in a year or two we'll hear some of the C7's leak so don't buy one of them.

I bought my 2007 brand new and it has about 56K miles on it. I have never had any problem with leaking fuel. I have friends who own or have owned C-6s, and none of them reported this problem. Of course it could happen tomorrow, so I will go ahead and say:

We’re doomed, doomed I say!

like any car out there, there are a handful of "seemingly common" issues on the forums. show me a car / forum that doesn't have this, and I'd be impressed.

yes, it is a potential issue in the future. yes, it can be expensive to repair. yes, there are other common failures to be aware of too.

it shouldn't be enough to stop you from wanting the car, though. there's always extended warranties for that sort of stuff too, although I'd rather 'gamble' and just pay out of pocket if an issue like that occurs out of warranty.

Definitely keep away!... The gas leak issue is only one of the many reported Corvette flaws, and not even a legit one!

Look up "Failing harmonic balancer", "Shifter stuck in park", "Fuel gauge stopped working", "Battery depleting when parked" for starters, and run to the nearest Kia dealer!

Not only do [ALL] C6s have faulty fuel systems that will eventually leak gasoline, the chances of the car catching fire and also burning down your house are greater than ever.
Run ... Run for your life ! !
And to paraphrase W.C. Fields:
I spent half my money on gambling, alcohol and wild women. The other half I wasted on a C6.

Unfortunately you get some clowns here on the forum that have nothing nice to say. I'd rather put up with a fuel leak than the asscid leak from their mouth.

My guess is that your talking about me ... For some reason, I just get that feeling, if you know what I mean.

Well, it ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to.

If you kind of resemble your avatar, yes. I think when someone has a concerned problem looking for help we should be a little more understanding. If you disagree with that, you are a clown.

I only came to this thread for the laughs it produced. The title assured me there would be several.

That photo in my avatar is not me at all. I just like it for some reason.

Here I am with my sexy new wife on the day we were married.

Just don't get too 'frisky' with her ... The last guy that tried to cop a little feel ... she pistol-whipped and then threw the guy across the bar ... busted 4 front teeth out of the guys mouth!

The Corvette in the photo was her wedding gift from me (It just needs a little paint work and some new shocks)
