Default 2006 Convertible Cashmere Top black marks

I have a 2006 convertible with a cashmere top. The top has what looks like black marks where I believe the top folds when down on the sides of the top I tried cleaning the marks with a soft brush and soap but they don't go away. Anyone have experience getting rid of these?

Light color tops are prone to marks. There has got to be something that will remove these marks. Discuss with local detailers, maybe they can help.

Some have had good results with Mr Clean Magic Eraser. The example below also mentions using a degreaser with it. BUT, be careful with the Eraser, it is abrasive so go slowly and carefully until you figure out how it's working.

Thank you. I have tried this product with minimal results. Any other suggestions?
