Fair deal? 2010 base 4LT
Looking for feedback on 2010 base 4LT, NPP, auto, nav, 19k miles, chrome wheels, dual roof, mag ride control
I have run all the nada, Edmunds, kbb, carguru, seeing $32k - $35k
Any thoughts?

Not enough info. Have you seen it, driven it, had it checked over (or, do you know all about C6s), done a CarFax, AutoCheck, IVH, is it all stock/unmodified, etc.?
Price? Seems ok, but that's contingent on a lot of things, some of which are above.

I have seen it and looked it over for approx 30 minutes, roads were too bad to drive, one owner, owner is selling himself, stored inside, drivers seat leather has a few more wrinkles than I would expect, Autocheck is clean and checks with owners history rundown, stock, unmodified, seems to be gently used, tires are in good shape and most likely original, I am not a C6 expert, my gut feeling is it is a great car with the exception of the wear on the drivers seat

Hmm, that's very interesting since it seems to me the car is everything you and the owner say it is. Like Bill above, I do wonder what is the relatively unusual wear you see on the seat (a pic of it would help)? W. 19K miles on it, a few things that come to my mind are: if the owner was somewhat heavy (say, more than 180 lbs. or so), or slid over the outside lower seat bolster a lot, or wore very rough clothing like work jeans/carpenter pants, etc. I also think that ebony shows a few more cracks/lines than the lighter colors like cashmere or light gray. A 4LT is the top of the line interior and that's pretty nice.
I would still do two things tho: buy a tread depth gauge (it's a little wire thing at any auto parts store and costs about $2) and go across the entire face of the tires to see outside to inside tread depth/wear (the original alignment from the factory tends to cause inner tire wear). And also measure to find out front to back differences, if any. Tires are one of your more expensive replacement parts.
The second thing to do is to get the vin and take it to any GM dealer service dept. and find out via the IVH GM system what warranty work has been done on the car. It's free.
Otherwise, as you said it does sound like a great car. What maintenance has the owner done to the car besides oil changes? Are you going to buy it without driving it?

I'd worry less about if the cost is the same as others have gotten because you can't know. No two cars are identical, no too sellers are equally motivated and no two cars will appeal to you the same amount.
The latter is the key factor. Are you a dealer buying only to sell or are you a passionate buyer? If the latter what diff does it make if you pay another $2k for the car you REALLY WANT over getting a great deal on a car which doesn't move you?

The price seems about right. I would discount a couple hundred dollars and get the bottom seat portion re-covered like brand new. On a private sale one can read the buyer about as much as the car. Good luck!

the seat is very normal for the miles - it's how he sat in the car....just needs some cleaning. You have looked at other cars and their asking prices. use that to determine if he's asking a reasonable $ for the car. Start low and work you way up. A one owner, well kept, lightly used car (any car) is worth paying more for.

Seat inserts in that color tend to do that if owner mainly wore blue jeans. Typical wear...
32k is good price imo...35k little high.
needs to put NEW tires and battery, (common practice at dealers in Texas...)
Good clean Carfax? What is he asking?
I just bought Extra clean 1lt 10k miles 2011 right at 32k$
It was color with options I wanted.

This is not a dealer, original owner selling.

Thanks for everyone's input, sounds like very good advice, I do like the color, just have to figure out if I really "need" a corvette right now

If you do buy the car, you can use Surf City Garage Voodoo leather treatment. I weigh 230 and I tend to put wrinkles in the leather. That stuff softens the leather and the wrinkles relax. I treat mine about four or five times a year because we put a lot of miles on the car. Hard to make a straight comparison though because mine is a 13 GS with the upgraded seats over a 10.

I bought a 2008 3LT coupe F55 for $32K two years ago with about the same mileage. If you can get a 2010 4LT at that price, then you my friend will have scored yourself a very fair deal. I say go for it.
Best of luck! Send us pics when you can!
