You can get 5 quart jugs of Mobil 1 at Walmart for $26 - $12 (rebate for oil only) = $14 each after rebate

The rebate can be used up to 2 times. That’s good news for us dry sump guys.

If you get Mobil 1 filters, you can get the $15 rebates.

This comes at a good time as I am up for my yearly oil change.

Watch out. These rebates many times don't include discount retailers like Wally World. Go to the Mobil site to see participating retailers.

I think you have to buy a $35 jug at NAPA or someplace similar.

Thanks for the heads up, but I entered my zip code on that website and Wally World , Autozone and O'Reily's and NAPA all turned up as places participating.

Thanks for posting this. I just changed the oil in my cars but I am heading to Walmart to pick up 2 five quart jugs today. Great rebate offer added to Walmart usual lowest price makes this a must do. By the way, I put in my zip code (SoCal) and Walmart is included.

Just as clarification - I searched on the website as well, but I think the "Find a location" is simply for retailers/service centers that sell Mobil oil- it's the same link as on the main Mobil page. The "participating retailers" are listed in the terms and conditions for the rebate. https://apfco.net/secure/R8235W/Home/Terms Walmart and Target are not on the list. And the Limited to purchases made at participating retailers is referenced several places in the rebate.

Please tell me I'm wrong, but it appears to me that you'll be stuck with paying the higher price to get the rebate, which may mean it's cheaper to buy it at regular Wally World prices.

I may be reading it wrong, but rebate states that you have to buy 5 quarts (or more), not the 5 quart jug of oil. You get $9 back for just the Mobile one oil purchase and you'll pay almost $9 more to get the oil in the individual quart containers. $15 back if you get the oil and filter together. I'll stick with the Wix or Napa filter and a couple 5 qt jugs of Mobile One from Walmart.
