The best thing to do is drive it into a lake and watch it sink. That will alleviate a lot of worry.

If it worries you, fix it.

I personally did my own with a Jegg's balancer...

Within the next couple of minutes all the ATI guys will post.

Seriously, this is the least of my worries. I would take off on a 650 mile trip to WV tomorrow, and I have almost 60k on my vette, if the snow would ever quit......

That's like saying I'm "ascared" I'll get into an accident on the road. Should I sell now. Maybe you need to consider public transportation.

Just Sun /Monday climbed from under my 11 GS. She now sports an ATI Damper pinned to crank , W/new crank seal.

Be happy to take your junker off your hands for free. I won't even ask travel expenses.

My HB has always wobbled, has GM ever stated what acceptable run out is? My dealer says it's within tolerance" but can't elaborate, just says warranty will not cover a replacement just because it wobbles a little. To my eye it looks like about 1/8 inch run out viewed at a right angle to the crank axis, seems to look worse from other angles.

Gary, being the guy I am I'll come get the car, flat bed it to my house, and keep it until you feel better. There, problem solved.

That puts it into perspective. I'd rather be watching my HB wobble than the white stuff falling.

Mines about the same. Only has about 23-K on the ODO but its going on 9 years old. I marked it and check it from time to time. Doesn't seem to be getting any worse. I heard that putting on a quality Goodyear Gator belt would help. Tried it and it seemed to help some....but I might just be in denial.

I wouldn't be scared to drive it if it's just chirping. I drove mine for about 30-45 k miles with it making chirping sound. Once it developed a rather obvious wobble I broke down and fixed it.

Search under my name and u can see the vid I took of it before I finally got scared.

There are also vids other guys took before fixing it.
