My Saturday in Bowling Green
For Xmas my wife got me the Xtreme Xperience at the NCM Motorsports Park on Saturday. Although I could have driven much more exotic and probably better cars, I chose to drive the C7 (not Z06). While I like many in this section of the forum, didn't like the C7 at first....it has really grown on me. So I figure why not. Now I've never been on a track or driven my cars to the max so I wasn't the fastest out there. Actually had to let a couple cars pass.... I know I'm a grandpa. But what a blast it was. Car is definitely fast and handles well. I saw one of the pros drive it and he was getting it around this technical road course. They will be in Atlanta in a few weeks and I recommend doing it. Fun fun fun.
Here is video of drive. Skip to 4:45 to see driving
Of course swung by museum too.

To have some real fun and learn what your Corvette can do take a trip out to NV and visit Spring Mountain Motor Sports Resort. Take a 3 day introductory driving school for the Corvette. I've done several Level 1 and 2 and drove the C-7 last spring. Nice car!
A set of Michelin PS 2's lasts approx. 1,200 miles on the track! Less for the more advanced driving schools like Level 2 since speeds are higher and braking is harder on the tires.
I would love to return to the NCM and do some track time on the new track across the highway there.

All the above, plus that must have been really fun no matter how slow you thought you were going!

You are correct. It helped me with my lines and pace. I highly recommend doing this and for the C7 the cost was reasonable. They had it marked down to $129 but that didn't include pics and video and lower deductible insurance. The exotics cost was quite a bit more.
