Default Undercarriage damage

Trying to buy 1st Vette. Found one that has about $2k in damage under driver's side.
Would this be considered an accident?
Seller is going to have fixed, but would I want to disclose when I sell it?
Is this fairly common for Corvettes?
Not sure what he ran over, but should I be concerned about other parts being hurt?
Should I move on to another vehicle?

Thanks

We will need more info on the damage. If it is frame damage stay away. Replacing a floor or aero piece is not such a big deal. Good luck!

Depends on what the damage is but if it was me I would look for one with zero damage.

It probably means the car went up on a curb... which might not bode well for the car's previous driving record...

rule of thumb, if he says its 2k in damage, its a lot more than that.

Move on.
