Repost from earlier:
While driving on backroad bend, mack-truck (why was it on this road????) in opposing lane couldn't take it and compensated with my lane...long story short: had to run off side of road (about 1.5 ft drop). Luckily only one side of car submerged so was able to make it out and drive off. However, I heard some deep snapping sounds on the way down. Can't get a hold of my garage guy, am alone, and crying. Please...help.
I don't think that's supposed to be there....
Supercharge and filter hanging down.
Tire eroded fendor?
Another view of the hole.

Report back when you've had the damage estimated. As much as myself and others might like to help, we'd all be speculating, and that's not worth much.
Good luck!

I think it is obvious that the this is beyond cosmetic damage and hence so needs a complete professional evaluation and estimate for repair. Anything said here would be speculation and at best may make you feel better at worst could cause you to think it is not that bad and have you drive the car only to create more damage!
Best of luck I hope the damage is not too bad and that you have good insurance to cover the repair!

1) Definitely file a claim. You have a legitimate collision loss, and you want to activate that portion of your policy.
2) Ask your insurance carrier to recommend a body shop in your area, and be sure to check them out.
Why? Because once an insurance company recommends a repair facility, not only do you have a guarantee from the repairer, but the insurance company themselves will guarantee the work.
This extra guarantee is very useful, if you have a problem with the repairs 3 years later, and the body shop has gone out of business, you won't be stuck.
Your insurance carrier will have to send you to another facility to correct the condition.
3) There is nothing to stop you from using a body shop of your choosing, but you will not get these same guarantees.
Good luck!

if it was that sharp of a bend, the truck couldn t have been going that fast, i would have pulled over a bit and stopped dead, if he hits me, then he is at fault. driving in the ditch is your fault and on your insurance. sorry this happened, looks like an awesome ride.
