I've noticed when driving slowly (when the car is quiet enough), I frequently hear what sounds like a servo or motor running for a second.

Is that normal? It seems to be coming from the center dash. My guesses are something HVAC related, though I need to see if it still occurs with the HVAC off.

I have seen other posts mentioning that the interior temp sensor rotates and can need cleaning, but it seems like it's coming from deeper in the dash.

Do you have nav? It could be the dvd drive reading or trying to read the disc. Just a guess though.
