Hey so I just tried to install my caravaggio race seat and it doesn't fit on the bolts that the stock seats mounted to. The hole for the front right bolt seems to not be in the right position. Is there something I am missing here? Do I need to adjust the rails in a certain way to get the seat to fit? Or do I just need to drill a completely new hole in the seat? I was under the assumption that the seat would fit perfectly. I have a 2005 z51 with the 2lt package, and I bought the seat from another form member who had it in his z06.

you have to push the rear bolt brackets up a bit. had the same issue. they fit you just got to move it around a bit.

So I talked with John Caravaggio and apparently the passenger side seats have a different bolt pattern than the drivers side. They are not the same. I'm going to try to drill some new holes in it tomorrow, hopefully it will go well.

Just an update; I was able to drill new holes in the seat so it's in my car now! Hopefully this helps somebody else in the future if they run into the same problem
