Default 2 months of XM radio free

Had my head light recall done last week at the local dealer. Today I received a email from XM for 2 months of XM for free!! Email said it was a courtesy from the service center.

Whatever you do, DO NOT give them a credit card number. You'll end up with a life sentence of trying to cancel the service.

I must be one of the few who enjoys XM radio; I listen to it almost daily. It's great to have on a long trip. And yes, they have my cc number. I've never had an issue, and I just renegotiate the price once a year. I don't think they actually expect you to pay their retail price.

And there's just one more reason to never go to a dealer.

I have no problems with them, and talk for while getting the price to what I think is fair.

I certainly haven't given them a CC number. I have to call and threaten to cancel every year to get anything even close to a reasonable deal.

Just got the baby out of winter storage and called XM to turn on the service. Price was $25 for 6 months. Will turn off again in the fall. Already have it noted on the calendar.
