Default 2012 Seat conversion kit installed

Hello.
I just want to share some information and some photos. Previously I came on here and expressed my desire to replace the sports seats in my 2009 CRM coupe with the 2012 seat "look." Several members responded to my questions with much appreciated advice and I have finally made the decision and now the new look seats are installed in my car. I think the new look is fabulous and well worth the time and expense to make the conversion. Originally my sport seats were the light titanium and I wanted to pick up the CRM exterior and have some color inside the car. After much talk with Tim at Leatherseats.com in OKC and agonizing over color samples, I chose the cobalt red and light titanium two tone combination in their Premium Plus package (100% leather with only a few vinyl attaching pieces which are unseen). I purchased the upgraded foam and seats (including e-brake boot, shift boot and console cover) from Leatherseats.com (approximately $2500) and had a local upholstery firm assemble everything. The local firm also embroidered the flag and the script CORVETTE on the console lid. LS embroidered the script on the headrests. I installed the finished seats, the boots and the console lid myself because I did not want the rocker panels or any other parts of the car to get scratched. lol I am most pleased with the result! With the ZR1 chrome rims, powder-coated calipers (thanks Mike) and upgraded interior, the car has received lots of compliments at Cruise-ins and such. I just go out in the garage to look at it and smile. I can't wait to get to the Corvette Classic in Fort Worth (Texas Motor Speedway) in two weeks!!
Thanks for reading and looking.

I normally don't care for red in an interior, but the whole red, gray, black thing really works. Really good looking

Wow! That will grab anyone's attention. That's the way these cars ought to be.

Looks great,....but I have a hard enough time just keeping my Casmere interior clean. That white would be a real bear. But as usual, YMMV.
