Default Plastic door clips

I was looking to replace the few plastic tabs or clips I broke when pulling off the door panels. Went to Chevy store and they tell me $7 a piece! !! Are you flipping kidding me? ? That doesn't even include the part that goes in the door either. Anyone have a part number or a place to get some at a realistic price???

Thanx!!

You can buy them on ebay 2005-2012 C6 CORVETTE DOOR PANEL RETAINER PIN SNAP MALE - $1.05 each + 4.95 shipping and any additional free shipping.)

and 2005-2013 C6 CORVETTE DOOR PANEL RETAINER PIN CLIP NUT HOLDER SNAP FEMALE for $2.05 each + $4.80 shipping and each additional free shipping)

Dealer MSRP is indeed $7.04, but online GM parts places generally sell them for $4.52, but shipping of $9.00 takes any savings away unless a bunch of them are ordered.
OEM part # 10350983 for retainers (male)

That's not a bad deal for those, they come in packs of 15. How many are on each door, 5 or 6 ?

The male clips broke on me as well. $1.00 each seems waaay more realistic... When Chevy told me $7.10 each I said this is my 6th Corvette and I am fully aware of the Corvette tax but that seemed a bit ridiculous. I said I will find them some place else. Thank you all for your help... as always!

Talk about the Corvette tax.

I needed a window crank for my 69 C3. Dealer wanted 29.99 for one. My roommate asked for one for his 72 El Camenio.........4.99. Same part.

Big NAPA stores have a very complete assortment of all manufacture's clips and specialty fasteners. they have the door panel clip in the assortment. None of these clips are over a dollar for two or more. It's worth a look the next time you are close to a NAPA jobber. I have not been able to find any locally at the dealerships. I have found them at some a shop.
