Does the C6 Emissions recall effect any performance specs?
Some C6 owners with California emissions package cars are getting emissions-related recall letters; with the fix being new catalytic converters and a new ECM calibration. When this recall is performed, what is the impact on the performance specifications (horsepower and torque curves, 0-60 time, top speed, fuel economy, etc.)?

I bet the power at wot is the same, but rest assured that emissions optimized tunes surely do so at the expense of economy (fuel optimized). Also strange that the recall adds 2012-up mid pipe cats to 2009, but no other years.

The fuel consumption does not bother me, performance does.
Although as I think about this having the 4:10 diff keeps things interesting regardless of other bolt on performance mods being absent.

My car is at the dealer now getting the new cats? Do you think I will experience a loss of power and or fuel economy? Honestly I just care about power not really my MPG. I don't know anyone who buys a Vette for fuel economy anyway

Did it affect performance?
I am at the same point, deciding about doing the recall. How did your car run after the recall work?
