Default New Hankooks on my GS

Put some new shoes on my GS today, O my gosh what a difference!! An alignment to PFADT street spec and it drives like an absolute dream.
And quiet too.

What sizes did did you go with ?
Thinking of going up a size on my GS, I'm going to need them fairly soon.

I went stock GS sizes. 325/30/19 rear and 275/35/18. I think the PFADT alignment spec is 1/2 the improvement

Where did you get them at? Please report back after you have a few miles on them too.

Virtually any new tire is gonna feel good, compared to what you replace, but the test is after they have 20k miles on them, what do you think then.

I have had 2 sets on my base 2007. First set lasted 26,000 miles and were very good the whole time. Quiet and good in the corners with little roll in.

The second set started to make noise after 10,000 miles. Heard that was a common problem with them..not so on the first set. They had good traction from a standing start but not great.

Went to Mitch Pilot Plus AS ZPs, much better IMHO. But they cost $500 more.

I got them at Les Schwab, a northwest tire dealer. Great service good prices. I have owned Bridgestones,Dunlop,Goodyear and now Hankook. The others were on BMW's but right now my Corvette is quieter than my wife's 528i. we'll see about the mileage.

It's amazing how a good set of tires change the feel of the C6. I was bouncing between the Hankooks (I had a set on my F-150 Lightning), and the Firestone Wide Ovals. Went with the Wide Ovals only because of the deal I was made. It's an entirely different car. Smooth, and quiet which I like.

I looked for Firestone but they don't offer GS sizes, at least on line.

Yep, that does make a difference. You will like the Hankooks. The ones on my truck were great.
