Sound's like the 2007 would be the better deal, lower cost, newer with the desirable options, if you can put up with a black car, that I could never due.

All seem over priced to me. Of three I'd pick the 07 though. If you're willing to spend mid 30's I think you can find a newer Vette with 20-30k on it. That's still plenty new and low miles if that is your concern.

as for the white one - has no appeal to me.

I've seen these cars already and none of them made it due to reasons such as --

no Nav, No HUD, color, etc.

now with all that said lots of these messages have an issue with the prices so if that's the issue then nothing on these sites are worthy because they are all over priced. The lowest is 28k for a junk

I would keep looking. A good friend of mine recently picked up a base 2013 red vert 4lt auto with 690 miles for 40k.

Personally I'd rather have the C6.

I understand what you mean. Buying a car is a very personal thing for most guys. When the right one comes along, you will know the two of you belong together. Keep looking at all the places that you have been looking, and be patient, it will finally come along.

Good luck.

It's Vette buying season so you may have to pay a couple of thousand more than if you were looking in October or later. That said, none of those deals sounds too crazy to me. If you can get the Red/Tan down to $35K, with the low miles, it might be a good deal.

For some reference, I just bought an 08 Vert/Auto 3LT with 12,000 miles, no nav and no Z51 (I prefer the softer ride and I will never track the car) and paid a "high" $35K for it from a dealer. 08 was the first year for the LS3 engine and was a requirement for me.

Good luck and keep us posted!!

That's too high if you ask me. You can get a GS in the low-mid 40s..

Good Luck on your decision

please explain. I've done national searches and while I can touch coupes with up to 50k miles for 31k and under I am not finding any convertibles in that range......

I'm confused to "severely over priced"

The LS3 came out in 2008; so the 2009 will have more HP than the 2006 & 2007 that you are looking at.

If I were you I would at least try to find a 2008 or newer. Just my $0.02

From the research I did while buying, what I've seen, and my personal opinion.... The 04 c5 should be lower 20's not 30's... The 06 and 07 should in the mid to upper 20's. MAYBE $30k.... Maybe. So in my opinion they are over priced. When you can find 06-07 Z06's in low 30's... And 08+ cars in mid 30's....doesn't compute as to why the older cars are trying to get newer pricing.... That's my opinion.

understood but HP isn't a concern unless you're saying it's going to hold the resale value higher....

I literally spent 8 months shopping before I found what I really wanted. 2010 GS 24k miles for 35k certified from dealer.

Just be sure it's really what you want and not something you'll settle for.
