Have 2006 Vette wont start wont read key fob ..looking for some one in mo that can help me get it started .. thanks dave 815-543-4804 fob and car have new batterys .. friend with tech 2 cleaned codes car was hit on drivers door has new door . just trying to get car started for body shop ..will haul to any who can fix for me ... no one where I live has any knowledge of this vette to fix for me .. emc is suppose to be good

Dave, have your battery load tested. Rule-out the battery first & go from there. A low battery has been behind the problem with all kinds of seemingly mysterious electronic (FOB recognition, for example) problems. JMHO, but check the battery's 'health'.
2nd, when was the last time the FOB batteries were changed-out, if ever?

Put the fob in the slot in the glove compartment with the fob buttons pointed toward the passenger side of the car. The fob should work there, even if the fob battery is dead. If the fob still isn't recognized, it's the car battery that needs replacing.
