Radio glare from rear window
Hi all!
Just swapped the original Nav radio to a Kenwood.
Love the radio, but it seems like the angle may be slightly different, I get a lot of glare or white-wash from the rear window.
Has anyone figured out a solution?
As soon as I put my hand up between the two headrests, it's obvious it's coming from the rear. Almost like a wind blocker from a convertible would help (mine is a coupe).
My rear window is not tinted and that may be a solution, but not in the short term plans.
I've seen some "partitions" being sold that may help, but I want to try the forum first!
Thanks!

Do you, have the stock cargo shade? Just a guess but that may help until you can tint the rear window.
If you don't have one, they are only about $50

Wait till you take the top off. I have factory nav and with back window tinted no problem with glare. But with top off the nav screen is pretty much unusable.

My Pioneer screen tilts which gets rid of most of the glare if your Kenwood does not do that then try the sun shade for the back as has been suggested that should help.

I already have the rear shade.
Sadly the kenwood does not tilt, that would probably take care of it.
If the rear cargo shade could be hooked up to cover the window completely instead of just hiding the floor, that would be nice, but then we'd lose the rear view.
All that needs to be done is some type of "fishnet" between the two seats up to the headrest. That way the rearview mirror still works and the glare is gone from the screen.

I have a Kenwood and haven't noticed the problem. Maybe it's there and I've just moved my head around to see the screen. I'll check next time I have it out on the road.

Darker tint should be the answer.

Guys, this is along what I was thinking... But ideally, i'd like to have it sit higher, like flush with the top of the headrest.
