Project dream garage (and house) is finally done!!
Hi Everyone,
I've spent the last two years building a new house and space for our C6 Corvettes and it is "officially complete"! (as if our work is ever complete..lol)
I'm always doing something to my car and I always need more space or more dyno time right before the event and etc..etc...etc. So when we decided to build our dream home I wanted to make sure we built a dream garage too.
I'm a DIY'er as long as time permits and I'm OCD when it comes to my cars so I planned out each aspect from top to bottom and made sure it had everything I could plan for.
The excitement to be actually moving into the space is overwhelming and now I want to work on something!
The Corvettes new Home:
The "Shop" is the big garage on the right. (they were still laying pavers in this photo but you get the idea.
18' Celings with a Lift, custom cabinets for tools and sound proof closet for the air compressor.
Man cave area with loft storage above and bathroom.
Electric lift Onrax system to store spare wheels and tires
My "pride and joy" :-) Dynojet 224xLC dyno with eddie current load control
A Polar Air 80 gallon, 2 stage, low rpm "ultra quiet" industrial air compressor
Hopefully next weekend I'll be posting up my first dyno video from the garage!

Personal dyno, you just don't see that everyday. I'm a little fuzzy on this but back in the day I thought every home came with a dyno, oh wait, that was indoor plumbing!
The one problem with this forum is that somebody is always punching a new hole in the envelope and redefining what is possible in a personal garage. Congratulations, I'm properly impressed.
