Carbon Fiber GS door sills installed
Havent seen pics on these, so I thought I'd post some from my install..These were on sale from WCC for $200.
Marked position with painters tape.
Goo Gone used to remove the residue.
Pretty thin and flimsy stuff. I thought it was a little more rigid for the original price of $280.00
Dont know why they tell you to mark the originals with tape, when these are smaller in comparison.
I chose the end of the plastic trim seam to make my point of reference.
Then I used some compound and hand buffed and waxed the new sills and the door jams.
They look pretty sweet in my opinion.

Have to admit that not being a big fan of a lot of the "interior Mods" I see that these do look good, NICE They have the appearance of a much thicker piece don't they once they are installed

Yeah. Im glad I got them for $70-$80 less than the regular price, as well as free shipping. Im not a big chrome or carbon fiber guy, but I have the CORSA carbon fiber CAI and im just looking for a few pieces to tie the car together. Ive had my eye on these bc I didnt like the stock ones and the Chrome GS were way too flashy.

looks a lot better than the stock ones to me. I have an 05 I would like to put those on. How do you remove the stock ones or can I just put the CF ones on top? They look a lot thinner than I thought they were. Nice job!

I was able to lift up the corner of the factory one with my finger and slowly and evenly pull up. The stock ones are pretty thin too and just held on with some 3M tape, so it wasn't difficult to pull the adhesive up. The stock ones are larger than the new ones as depicted above by the painters tape I used. This negates the ability for you to put them on top.

Great job. I have on my black GS as well. Terrific choice. Nice job with the pictures - I never took any when I did mine.

I have installed several sets for friends. Easy install, just use a heat gun or hair dryer to remove the old factory sills. Usually there will be some adhesive residue left that can be removed with Goof-Off or another adhesive remover. Make sure you mark exactly where the new sills will be located with blue tape. This is a one shot install so be sure you have everything lined up and positioned where you want them, no "Do Overs". Several Forum vendors sell these and come in C-6, Z-06 and GS styles.
