Default paint difference with rear bumper - CRM 2010

Just purchased a 2010 coupe, crystal red metallic, but noticed a portion of the rear bumper is lighter in color than the remainder of the car. I was told by some other Corvette owners that this is an occasional problem with this color and others. The car has a clean CarFax, so really do not believe it has been repainted, but would like some assurance. Anyone seen or heard of this issue?
Thanks very much.

Very common with the tint coat colors. Light reflects off it differently. My 2006 MR did the same thing.

I have slight color differences on my '08 CRM as well but light effects how visible they are and to date, I am the only one who seems to notice!

The Medium Spiral Gray C5 I had had huge differences in the front bumper and the rest of the car but my 07 seems to be right on.

Thanks very much for the replies. Unfortunately the one section on my back bumper is much lighter and very noticeable. I'm hoping this is not an unusual problem so that it will not affect the value of my car. This is so noticeable to me that I'm actually thinking of returning the car to the dealer and taking a big hickey on it. However if this is somewhat common and acceptable with a resale vette, then I will most likely keep it. Sure would like some others comments.

Is it just a small area like it was repainted or one part of the panel?

Pics would help if you can capture it.
One member had a door that was totally off, new from factory. He went to the bash at the NCM and while there GM replaced all his body parts I think.

It is about 12" long on the side of the rear bumper, unfortunately on the drivers side of the car where the side panel meets. Very visible and noticeable. I did see it before purchasing the car last Thursday, but was so pleased with the vehicle in all other aspects that I just overlooked it at the time. Now I'm concerned about it obviously, thinking about returning it. Guess I would just really like some reassurance that this paint difference might be acceptable in the Corvette community so that the resale value will not be so reduced when I most likely try to sell it in a few years (I'm an old dude, and this was on my bucket list). The car is really nice, only 16,000 miles and a real pleasure to drive. Just this one flaw which is concerning.
I will be glad to post a picture if I can figure out how to do so. Just joined the forum a couple hours ago and trying to navigate my way at this time. Thanks so much for everyone taking the time to reply.

Not acceptable. My wife's '10 GS has no problems like this. Have dealer repaint.
