Life after the C6 - Where are you going?
Question is simple...
What are your upgrade plans, if any, after your C6?
It's such a solid platform, will you wait for a C8? Will you wait for a Mid-engine Corvette? Will you wait for them to bring back those damned round taillights?
I just bought my C6 in late may, looking to see what y'alls plans are.
I'm 27 and I currently have a 2003 Corvette Convertible Manual with 70k miles and my 2008 Corvette 3LT Coupe A6 with 4,830 miles. The 03 will be paid off this year and the 08 is on a 3 year note (2018). Always thinking about what's next.
Special thanks to everyone being awesome here in the C6 forum!

I really like the widebody look, so if GM does a "GS" version of the C7, I'll look at something like that, but that's a long ways away. I'll probably have my 2012 GS another 5 years or longer.
I've had other sports cars and muscle cars, but it's just not the same, and I always come back to the Corvette. I don't see anything from other manufacturers, either currently offered or on the horizon, that could tempt me away, at least nothing that is in my foreseeable budget.

To look and see how many different forums you post the same thread in.

At some point, there will be a C7 in my garage.

Are you going to wait for a specific C7 trim?

Posting the response anyway.
Nothing wrong with moving on.

I'm pretty young and still on the fence about the C7 looks - despite it being totally badass in almost every way.

Hopefully in a few years I'll be able to trade the 05 in and get a C6Z or a 427. Those two are my dream cars. I love the C7, but those two C6's just do it for me.

Very nice. absolutely beautiful.
Hope to do the same someday, but I want to keep my C6. It has been such a great car I love it more today than when I bought it in 07.

I'm planning on giving my 2013 GS to my grandson when he graduates medical school.
That's a number of years away, so by then, my 'vette will have about 30,000 miles on it, and still in excellent condition.
It'll be a great car for him, but I really don't know what I'll do at that point.
I'll probably be looking seriously at the C8, assuming I'm still alive.
