Recommended tire pressure for Michelin AS3?
I recently replaced the AS+ on my '07 Z51 Coupe with the new AS3's and couldnt be more pleased with the tire or the pricing. I paid $1260 after rebates ($70 Michelin & $50 GM ServiceCenter) for all four tires balanced & installed by Criswell Chev in Gaithersburg, MD.
However I'm not a little confused as what is the correct PSI to run in the tires. Criswell set the pressure at 30PSI all around, which is the factory recommended pressure.. however these are not the stock OEM GY runcraps that came on the car. Not only is this a different brand.. its a non-runflat tire. Hard to imagine the factory recommended 30PSI is the same for such a different tire.
Thanks in advance!

Everything I have read on tie pressure for the C6 Corvette, no matter what tire you have is stick with the 30 psi as indicated on the door. Does not matter if they are the original runflats or the Michelin's, 30 psi.

I run 32 psi in my tires, I have continentals on the front non run flats and runflat Michelins on the rear at 30psi I seemed to be excessive
wear on the outer edges of the tires

Think I might bump up the PSI to 32. Since these are all-season tires.. its not like they need to get alot of heat into them to work well. They are pretty much nice and sticky right out the box. Thats in wet or dry conditions.

I have the AS3's as well, and compared to the stock GYs, they have been far superior for me in all areas including dry handling, wet/rain, and for temps below 50 degrees. I'm sure you would be fine at 30psi, but for whatever it's worth, I set mine to 32 cold.

I tend to run 32 in the winter months and 30 in the summer months. A couple of pounds one way or the other won't be dire.

I have AS3's. Mine are at 30 Cold. I also rotate them side-to-side every 6,000 miles, which will preserve the 40,000 mile warranty. They're wearing great.

You can play with pressures a bit, based on your own experience, but if the new tires are the same size as the old ones, then the place to start is 30 psi cold....runflat or not is not important.
