Default 1st vette

Looking for thoughts and help on purchasing my 1st vette. Here's my likes, white exterior, red interior, not sure what options I should get or what C6 model to go for. I'm a little confused by the different cars out there like Z06 Ron Fellows, GS etc. Please help me buy the best option I can get for around 45K to 50K. Keeping in mind I'm likely gonna want something new in about 2 seasons..LOL

First decide if you want a coupe or a convertible. Drive both, on the freeway, top up/on and down/off for as long as possible. Then decide which transmission you want. Read about the Z06 (it has pros and cons) and the GS online. For your price, you can get a really nice C6 that is only a couple of years old and has few miles on it. Unfortunately, that also means the car you buy will suffer heavy depreciation in the next two years (older cars have already done most of their depreciation).

It's good to hear opinions here, but you really need to go out and see and drive the different cars to know what you want. Check when the local Vette club is having their next meeting, attend, and look at all the cars and talk to the owners.

Great advice, I like the look of the coupe and I am looking for opinions, I'm leaning toward a 07 RF with about 3700miles and priced at 48K does that seem like a reasonable deal?

Does $48,000 for an 8 year old car sound reasonable to you, when a brand new 2015 C7 can be purchased for $10k more?

Are you serious, or trolling?

You should be able to do way better than that for that much $$.. I bought a 2012 GS 4LT/Manual/NPP/Spider Wheels for 46K back in the spring.. 6500 Miles..

To be fair, an RF (Romeo Ferrari) Z06 isn't a base C6, and they sell for much higher prices. How much higher, I have no idea.
