Resonator removal question
Have a 08 with the corsa xtreme system, thinking about getting the resonator replaced with pipe. What you guys think, would it be too loud or Anybody done this before and have a clip to hear what it sounds like. Noticed lots of c4 guys did it but haven't found a video of a c6

When you say resonator, are you referring to the cats or the muffler? If you are talking cats, then make sure you don't have a state emission test and also if you do remove them you will get a spent gas smell in the car. If you are talking about the mufflers that came with the Corsa system, some have removed their mufflers and ran a straight pipe and love it, whiles other say it was to load.

In the pic below, if you look closely, you can see where the center pipes are slightly bigger. That is the resonator for the Corsa system on my '96.

There was just a thread in C4 gen about the side effects of removing the resonators. Some even said that they could feel a SOTP loss in torque.
