I need a new water pump for my 2005 corvette can I use a Murray instead of AC Delco? Will I be making a mistake?

Is the Murray water pump cast iron or aluminum ? as the LS2 block is aluminum ..I seem to remember reading somewhere that dissimilar metals can cause a reaction and corrode at a faster rate when under high temperatures
