Default Seeking Opinions--Novi Stretch Nylon Nose Guard

Anyone have one of these? If so, are you pleased? Easy to install? How do they attach? Holding up well? How much protection do they provide?

Not a big fan of the heavier duty leather or vinyl style masks. Thinking of getting one of these for occasional use on an extended trip. Not for full time use. Looks like an affordable option. Would like some opinions first. Thanks.

This what looks like on my C4 and C6, easy to install and remove, works well.
All you need is to replace the screws in the wheel well. install strip of velcro, and your done.
They are washable after trip, and store in your in the provided pouch to throw into your rear storage compartment.

Thanks 1bd. I take it you are happy with yours? My concern is if it's just a thin mesh, does it provide much stone protection, or mostly just effective with bugs? Also curious, where does the velcro strip go? Looks like it could be a very easy and convenient solution to minor nicks and chips.

It keeps the from bugs, and also my front clips are chip free, so I think it works well.
The velcro on the C6 goes on the bottom of your front bumper way out of sight and other strip open the hood and inside the front bumper. I recommend you clean the area well, and the tape will hold.

The actual Novistretch brand uses no velcro. The type that uses velcro is good but the velcro from my own experience does not hold with the heat from the engine compartment. The Novistretch uses all snaps and two fabric hooks. It looks great and protects as good as it looks.

Thanks again. Think I'm gonna spring for one.

Go for it, I live in Florida were it's hot, and have no problem with velcro coming loose, just make sure the area is super clean.

I have a Novistretch and love it. Easy on and off and it protect against the small stuff very well. I just use it for long trips. Initial installation is just removing stock screws and replacing with provided snaps. Takes about 15 minutes.

By the way, no Velcro on a current Novistretch. All snaps.

After one year of use, mine ripped in many places, it looks like swiss cheese. It did protect the nose from a ton of bugs.

That settles it then! With RPI's 12% Carlisle discount, kind of makes it a no brainer. Thanks HB.

Really? Now I'm back on the fence. Did you have it on full time? Was it covered under warranty? If so, after 1 yr I suspect it had run out?

I just came back from Carlisle (drove from Florida). It works perfectly. It protects the front end perfectly. No overheating issues...It is perfect and I would highly suggest...

I have never been a big fan of the front mask but after getting tired of all the bugs I tried the Nosvistretch. I have been very happy with it and I leave it on the car all the time. It's easy on and off and I can't tell any difference in my temperature gauge driving in near 100 degree heat. I am now a fan of these. JB

Bought mine a few weeks back. The install is easy. For the GS its just a matter of unscrewing some screws inside the fenders, a couple under the hood and a couple under the splitter. The screws are replaced with screws with the snaps built into the heads. Easy on/off and keeps stuff off the front. There are YouTube install videos that show the base and GS/Z06 installs, they are different. The base model requires a little different install on the fenders.

One thing too, my curb alert does go off at times when its installed. If something gets stuck in the material near the sensor it will beep and will not be as effective in curb detection. So that can get annoying.
