Default Day off to play with our toys

My friend and I took the day off to play with our toys, take some pics & do some driving. We did a full runs & I destroyed him every time. His car either has a junk tune on it, something is wrong or that blower gets A LOT of heat soak fast.

Mine: 07 Z06--Cam, exhaust, intake, tune. 535 RWHP

His: 09 LS3 Vert--E-Force supercharger, exhaust, intake & tune. Has not been on the dyno yet, but my Z had zero issue dispatching his car when we ran.

I prefer my Redlinegoods.com leather items to his overkill.

My favorite pic is the close up of both bumpers facing each other. Nice rides, sounds like good day off.

I'm not surprised you took him - you have almost as much rear wheel hp as he has engine hp, plus you have a much lighter ride

And I agree with the posts above, very nice pics, and it's always nice to have a play day too!!

not sure about it being lighter. I was out racing my friends 2010 grand sport coupe this weekend as well and I lost a bet that my 2007 convert was heavier than his car. The grand sport coupe is approximately 200lbs heavier than the convert.........

+ the 2 subs & boxes in my friend's car add at least 50 lbs I'd say.

I expected him to put up some sort of fight not get raped that bad. His blower kit is the 599 crank HP kit so he has to be putting down near 500. Maybe not that day with the heat + I think his tune done by COW is garbage.

Either way, he is dying to slap some meth & a cam on his car + smaller pulley now.

Did he upgrade the fuel pump with the Stage 2 system? If not, there's the issue right there!!!

Sounds like a good day, and I'm not surprised at the outcome, without any data on his car who knows what's going on with it. Not sure how you can buy an FI car and not take it straight to the dyno?
