Alignment
I have a 07 base Corvette. I read somewhere that there was a road alignment and a track alignment for the car. Supposedly, Chevy aligns the car for the track and tires wear out much sooner than with the road alignment. The information I read was for a 08 Vette. Anyone know if will work for my 07?
Recommended Corvette Alignment Settings Pure Street
Front
Camber-0.8deg
Caster8.0deg
Toe0.0in
Rear
Camber-0.5deg
Toe0.0in
I don't know how this compares to the Chevy track spec.
Thanks,
Rocky

I get my alignments done when I put on new tires at the dealer. I have gotten between 30K to 40K per set of tires, on my sixth set of tires on my second Vette (3 on C5 3 on C6).
I use my dealer because I get a good installation price there and I like them doing the alignment. Get the tire from Tire Rack.

I don't think I've ever seen the GM specs.

This is the information that I was looking for, thanks much. How many miles did you get out of a set of tire?

Advanced
I originally set to pfadt street setting. Still had inside tire wear on the front tires. Had camber set to .1. No more inner wear and no handling issues. I do not track, just highway driving. And this spring at the NMC bash, talked to one of the corvette techs, she stated that a camber of 0 is fine if not tracking the car.
