Default Shiny Toys for Grown Men!

You all know the feeling. The UPS or FedEx truck pulls up to your home and the driver wheels a dollie full of large boxes to your front door...boxes of performance stocking stuffers. Tis the season! And the driver - well now he's your new best friend!

Ramped up for phase II of my GS build. The install is next week. Looking for some good numbers on top of a 406rwhp/396rwtq baseline dyno (CAI only). More to follow.

ARH 1 7/8. I'm an early riser and suspect my neighbors won't like me much. NPP exhaust valve is open...all the time. :-)

I also read his comment as 'headers' and not heads. What heads are they?

You'll get tired of the NPP valve being open 100% of the time--I did. The drone at 1,500 rpm is overwhelming with stock mufflers. If you don't have one already, get yourself a mild to wild.

Oh got ya - they're PRC CNC heads. Figured hell - have to get springs, pushrods, etc....might as well get ported heads too.

I picked up 100 hp to the wheels. The car put down 550hp and 490 ft-lbs. I did the muffler mod and it sounds good, but it is quite loud. Overall, I'm very happy.

That's outstanding! I'm hoping to be in that same neighborhood. Assuming you have a MT...OEM to be exact, have you had any clutch issues with the added power?

Coming from Tire Rack? Yeah, I ended up getting the Conti Extreme Contacts (335/285). So far so good. Good ride quality and excellent rain performance (three times). Post up your experience with the Potenza's after you've broken them in.

Can't believe you drive your car in the rain!

Yeah, I promised myself when I got it that it wouldn't be a garage car. I drive the **** out of it. When I wear it out I'll just get another. Life is good.

HA! Mine goes to the shooting range with me. Her shot group is pretty solid. I'm not saying a thing about her.
