Default Chicklet delete mod

Did the Chicklet delete mod today and added colored cross flags on the wheel center caps! I never liked seeing the Chicklet emblems on the pre 2010 Chevy's. I removed them from my Camaro and I finally got around to doing it on the Vette. Some here are purists and want to leave things original but it's been modded here and there so it's not original anyway! I think it looks cleaner and the colored cross flags really help the stock silver wheels to pop a little! What do you think?

Looks good man...
That is the first thing I do when I buy a C6 that still has them on it.

I've seen many members here ditch the chicklets over the years.

I like how they look on there to be honest, maybe I'm part of the minority. Who knows.

I appreciate that some think they look fine but I think it just looks a lot cleaner without them! Matter of taste.

I'm glad GM did it for me on my 2012.

I kept mine, it distinguishes it being pre 2010.

The car still be a Chevy without the chicklet's.

I initially took mine off and put them back on after GM stopped using them.

Actually, they were included on the initial month or two of 2010 model production as well.

I cannot figure out why those tiny little things would bother anyone. What makes me laugh is many that remove them will then stick other things on the car such as Jake skull decals, Z51 emblems, chrome corvette lettering on rear, trim on taillights, etc. To me those things make me cringe, looks like they went crazy ordering from a J.C. Whitney Accessory catalogue.

That is correct! Until GM came out of bankruptcy procedings the chicklets were still used. The "new" GM stopped using them immediately. I guess the wanted to distance themselves from any clues of the "old" GM. My 2010 Camaro SS had them. It was built in June of '09 in the beginning of bankruptcy. 2 months later the 2010's had no chicklets on them.
