6mt - Reverse won't come back to neutral
Hello all,
I am noticing this on my buddy's 07 with the T56 tranny. The car is mint with 40k miles on it.
Sometimes after going into reverse, the shifter would literally become stuck, and I can't pull it back out of gear, and even if I do, the gear won't move to the left toward neutral, so basically I feel like I am still partially stuck in reverse, or between reverse and neutral. I haven't released the clutch to see if the engine stalls to confirm yet.
Any idea what's going on?

No idea, but my guess is it's internal to the trans itself. I'd ask an expert like RKT56 who works on them. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...derick-md.html

Hence the clutch fluid is contaminated, and when you press the pedal all the way down, it not fully releasing the clutch.
Short of that, would dare to guess that the back linkage coupler bolt for the shifter linkage is loose.
But since it still under warranty, then let the dealer solve the problem under warranty.
