Default $100 for wax?

I thought some of the others were expensive at $30 or so but what would make a wax worth $100. And that is a sale price! Black pinnacle??

If you think that is expensive.....there is a guy doing high end detailing by hand that uses unicorn wax at the cost of some ungodly amount.

Do a review search for Black Pinnacle. I once used Turtle Wax Black and was very impressed with the results. Not no $100 wax, but then again, I wasn't driving a $400,000 car either.

Good luck.

If I had a million dollars in my savings account, I would try it. But since that will never happen, I think it's a ridiculous waste of money. I'll stick with my NXT 2.0.

"Black Label Synergy applies so thin that a 5 ounce jar will yield in excess of 25 applications. Considering that each application provides a minimum of 6 months of protection, a single jar of wax could potentially last over 10 years!"

The kit also gives you an applicator and buff cloth...

I pay $70 for the wax I use, but it provides the protection I am looking for. But it truly comes down to what you are willing to pay and if you are happy with the results you get.

I bought a $90.00 Pinnacle product with the intention of returning it if it didn't do as advertised. After applying it, I put my car beside a friends car, same year and color, that was done with Meguiars NXT (which I love) and the Pinnacle was much deeper, red and glossy. I obviously didn't return it. I use rejex on my daily cars and couldn't be happier with the protection and look.

Any wax that costs $100 better come with someone to apply/remove it at that price.

There's a restaurant here that charges $35 for a shot of certain whiskies.
After a couple, who can tell the difference. Same for car wax.

I have yet to see a wax yet of any price that last as long as they say it will when used under every day conditions. I'm assuming that they mean that if you check the car real hard in a year that you may find a trace of it under the door sill or something along those lines. I've used many...many different waxes, both cheap and expensive and i've never found one that beads up a year later just like it did right after you waxed it if its used on a daily driver.
