Default Shifter Recommendation

Hi Guys, I'm getting tired of sloppy shifts with the stock shifter. Can I get some recommendations on shifters? Thanks

Stock shifter?

Been there done that. Back to stock shifter. For me the stock shifter is the easiest, quietest, most comfortable and best compromise over all.

MGW is what I have and am a big fan of it. The flatstick looks cool and performs beautifully. Love the slight notchy click when it slips in to gear.

Another strong vote for the MGW. I much prefer it over the stocker.

I've had an MGW for over 4 years of daily driving. It performs flawlessly, no rattles, clicks into gear with precision. It's a quality piece and you won't be disappointed.

MGW is what I have also. It is much better than the stock shifter. You have to get use to it. The click as you put it into gear is a little annoying. But I really like it.

MGW all the way!

I have a Core Shifter set up in my C6. Its an improved on Hurst set up that allows me to run an old school Hurst shifter in my Grand Sport just like I had in my C2's and C3's back in the day. It works great and to me looks even better........

I have the MGW flat stick in the z06. Only had the car a few months, but out of all the shifters i've had in the past, this is by far my favorite. Short throws, looks and feels great.

MGW 35% on the 06 and I love it. That said, the shifter on the 427 is fine the way it is. The MGW was a vast improvement over the OEM shifter on the T-56. I also had a Hurst short shifter on my C5 and the MGW is superior in every way.

WOW!!!!! MGW seems to be the most popular. Does it do away with hitting the gate on shifts? Every shift I make is a hard one, sometimes it doesn't want to go into gear........

i recently put in the hinson shifter. really happy with it and it uses the stock shift **** so it looks factory. I like factory looks and I like trying new products.

Hey Ed I tried to contact you a couple of time when the wife and I were in PC. Never heard back from you?

Out with the stock and in with the new. One of the very first mods I did to the 427.
