Black car, which wax?

I have a black GS. I have tried several waxes from Meguiars, Griots, and Chemical guys. For a wax, I prefer Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax. The shine is amazing, and it seems to last longer than some of the others. However, it's not cheap. I think it was just under a hundred bucks.

I switch from Meguiars Black Wax and Pinnacle Souveran which by the way are used on Black, Red and Yellow cars.

My 2005 is black and regardless of the wax, the paint has to be flawless (or damn near) first.
This is my opinion mind you.
I've tried the expensive to the cheap. My next step is paint correction.

Blackfire products are clear and not color based which is ideal for black. I swear by Black Diamond Polymer, Black Diamond Crystal Seal and Black Diamond Waterless Wash, although I recently have stopped using the Crystal Seal in favor of CQuartz Finest Sealant which is not available to the general public, but is probably the best on the market.
Although my car is DSOM, my motorcyles are black and blue.

^^^^ Is the wax black? I've seen wax that was black and wondered if that helps any.
This question was for myfunz.

Another vote for Pinnacle, and the Pinnacle polish before the wax will give you unbelievable results. I love Meguiars and used it on my Vette, nice, but this stuff is deeper, and wetter.I justified the price to myself by breaking it down to about $5.00 per wax.

any wax...just plenty of it applied daily....

Always remember the wax is the last step. The correction of the paint is the key to a perfect shine. Wash, clay bar, polish 1, polish 2, seal and wax. If you simply wax over a non prepped or ill-prepped surface you are not accomplishing anything. Prep and correct before the wax.

I am shocked with so many recommendations for Souveran. I've been using it and thinking there may be something better out there. I loved it for my Mercedes, but it is not making the paint pop as it did for that car which was black as well.

Wax
I have forgone the traditional wax and went with professionally applied CQuartz. It will last 2-3 times longer than standard wax as it gets down to the nano particles. Results are tremendous. Just wipe the car each week with micro fiber and a water less car wash and I am off.
