Default Worn Rotors

My '05 with Z-51 has 44000 miles. The brakes and rotors are original. The pads are worn but not worn out. I have noticed the rotors have seemed to wear excessively. I have measured the thickness and they are all toast. I am planning on replacing the rotors and putting on AC Delco ceramic pads. Have any of you had rotor wear issues? Does anyone have the part numbers for the GM drilled rotors? I am not interested in aftermarket. In the past , I have had issues with aftermarket parts regardless of how good they are supposed to be. Thank you in advance.

I have the Z51 ones on my 2009 and about 36000 miles. Rotors and pads are still fine with minimal grooving on the rotors. Your intention to get OEM ones from GM is good I think.

Go to forum vendor Cultural Performance and do a search. All GM parts and it is simple to do.

My '08 F55 J55 rotors died about 55K miles. The OEM pads are more aggressive than ceramics, so when you make the switch, the rotors will last longer. Be aware that your stopping distance will be a little longer, although not much.

The same for me. I figure that brakes that lasted nearly 50,000 miles were good enough for me! I replaced mine with exactly what the factory installed.
