Front Camera & Back-Up Switch For Back-Up Camera
I want to install a switch for my back-up camera, so I can turn in on when I want too, but also have it work, when I put the car in reverse.
I have a Kenwood DNX 771 HD radio. Should I split the purple wire, and hot wire to the switch, that runs to the back-up lights? How should I wire the switch?
Front camera: Where will I get my hot from?

Ideally, you can connect the 2 cameras to the single monitor that has a dual video input (Your unit has that option)
1) You can use the lighter fuse for the power source with on/off switch for the front camera (use a fuse tap)
2) The back up lights for the rear camera power source.
That way, when you put it in reverse, the monitor will show the BU video on one side
When you turn on the front camera, it will show on the other side of the monitor.
