Hey guys, I'm looking into purchasing a VY 2013 427 down in Florida, and I had a question about the decals that are applied.

It's not full stripes, but just those decals that are sitting on top of the hood up by where it meets the windshield. I'm not a fan of the decals and would prefer to take them off, but I've been told that the full stripes on 427s had clearcoat over them. However, I didn't know if any of you could tell me if those short decals on the hood are clear coated over as well.

here is a pic of the Vette, and you can see the black decals i'm talking about.



Any input in the removability of these decals would be very highly appreciated. Thanks guys.

There is no clear coat over any of the stripe options on the 427.
