Neither one would be my choice but, if I had to choose, I would take the black one...only because I don't like coupes...and $24k is an easy way to get a GS.

The one with less miles is always a good starting point. I'm the opposite, I like coupes over the ragtops. Whichever you choose lots of luck.

That black vert has nearly 20,000 miles a year on it. I'd keep looking if I really wanted a vert.

Whichever one has the man pedal, I would buy it.

Of the two take the car with the less miles.

That being said, there are a lot of very nice C-6 Corvettes available right now. Look around and find exactly what you want.

Option 2 only cuz i'm a coupe guy...but dam 24k for a GS sounds like a steal if you're not afraid of miles.

No reason to just settle between these 2. So many nice used grand sports out there

I prefer convertibles but no doubt I would go for the one with low miles.

I think you are selecting the correct C6 version - the Grand Sport. Of these two, I would pick the coupe because of the low miles. However, as others have suggested, there are plenty of GS's out there and I HIGHLY suggest you pick a 3LT. For the money, it's the way to go.

Good luck and don't forget to let us know what you end up buying - with pics !

Neither. 1st one is too much $ for the miles. 2nd b/c 1LT. 3LT or nothing IMO

THis.

I know the LS3 is reliable but over 100k???

You actually considered that over a 9k mile car?

Dude get the coupe.

Neither, both are lame.
1st one has way too many miles and its a slow vert.
The other is friggin orange.
Seriously nether has resale value...

Went and looked at the coupe today. I've never seen anything like it, the PO added the carbon fiber (fake) splitter and side skirts along with a rear diffuser. An aftermarket dual mode exhaust with mild to wild switch. A leather (yes leather) interior (dash, doors, center console). A complete dress up kit under the hood, I do mean complete. Mats, cargo mats and on and on. I think there isn't one add on that wasn't put on the car to include seat belt pads. He even added a HUD. A radio the likes of which I've never seen complete with a PAL II. Unbelievable, I wonder how much was spent.

I don't think anything more could be done to the car cosmetically.

Sorry...not orange, it's red. I'd inadvertently turned on a filter on my phone.

I honestly don't see why everyone is so afraid of the miles. These cars get regularly trashed at many driving schools for well over 200k miles with very few problems. Saw a motorweek show where a Calloway rep was talking about a car that had 250k miles and still had the original clutch. The high mile car was one owner, I'll see it later this week.

I really do appreciate the opinions, just wondering why the aversion to high mileage vettes.

High mileage isnt bad my 08 had 89K on it when I bought it now has 107k just replaced the harmonic balancer though, my 96 had 91K and my 88 had 170k , all ran good when I bought them,so if you like the black one go for it
