Default Will the Zr1 style side skirts/splitter scrape when driving on the road?

I was thinking of getting the Zr1 style front splitter and side skirts for my 07 corvette z51but I'm worried about it scraping when I'm driving or going up hill or even crossing speed bumps.

I think you'll have a tough time finding anyone here to answer that question.

Seriously? A car wash. Maybe a self service spray booth but not a mechanical car wash regardless of whether you install the ground effect pieces.

I've used a self service spray but it leaves a lot of water spots.

We have a carwash in town that, for a premium cost, offers hand washing as an option to running it through the 'brushless' wash. When I was still recovering from my cancer, I drove in one day and as the assistant manager walked up to my car, he looked it over from front to back and then proceeded to inform me that due to my ground effects (ZR1 style splitter & skirts) and my rims there was no way it was going through the carwash; he wasn't willing to take the risk. I laughed and let him know I was there to have it hand washed

The full-service car wash where I live won't allow a Corvette through the machine.

They say the wheels are too wide and causes problems with the equipment (track). They will hand wash a Corvette only (for about twice the price).

Wash your Corvette at home.
