Default Music on Android thru 2009 Bose via Bluetooth???

Phone is properly paired with car, calls can be made & received. Back in the good old days I could plug a thumb drive in the USB port of my 2012 GS and listen to music through the Bose audio (w/NAV).

Now with my 2009 I have no port (or mini jack), any music from my phone to Bluetooth instruction would be appreciated.

Hi Bob
I just installed isimple655 in my 2010 GS this weekend. Works great can listen to music, GPS, Pandora whatever I can play on my phone comes thru the stereo. You do need to have satellite radio to install this. You do not need a subscription but it does have to be on. Also I now have a USB port s well. Installed that where the accessory port is in the center consul. I paid 95.00 for the unit.

Thank you, I'll look into that solution (especially if I change out the shifter)!

Going from a 12 GS with a USB port to a 09 ZR1 with no USB port is definitely a trade off I could live with lol

Take a look at Ray Kawal. com products. I installed one of these in my 06 and have never had any problems. Good luck.
