Aluminum Jack - Cross Beam - Ramp - Jack Stand Package...
I'm looking to order the necessary tools for lifting my GS for oil changes, tire removal, etc...
It looks as though there are pucks already attached to my under body. I would like to purchase an aluminum jack with a mating cross beam. Ramps and stands too.
Does anyone offer a package deal or can anyone shoot me in the right direction ?
ThanX

I got a low profile aluminum jack at Harbor Freight that does the trick.

Retired & lovin' it!
Harbor Freight has several different floor jacks, depending upon what you want to spend, as well as a cross beam adapter. Check out their website....www.harborfreight.com

You should be able to get everything at HF. With a 20% off coupon that is available from internet, magazines and newspapers should save you good $$. Check their website for the items you need.

I have found that I only need 1 jacking puck, 2 stands and one jack.
You can lift one side of the car and get enough elevation for both stands and have both tires on 1 side off the ground.
If you need to put on headers or something like that the 4 stands and cross bar (all of which I have) would be the ticket.

I have a HD steel Jack, and I bought the harbor Freight cross beam adapter. I had to make a longer pin for the adapter to fit my jack, but I was lucky enough to have a 1" solid round bar that I cut to the proper length.
I ride up on a staggered 2x10 then I can get the cross beam adapter under the front carriage and lift and secure the adapter with jack stands then remove my jack so I have access to the under belly of the car to change oil and other maintenance as needed.
If you buy the jack at HF, then the adapter should fit without any modifications.

I've posted tho before, never much response, but here it is again. And I have a 13 GS so this will work for you.
I have a pair of small ramps, only 2 lbs each and 3"high, called Trak-Jax, which the GS can drive right onto. They are made by Race Ramps, about $85 and worth every penny to me.
Once on those ramps, there is almost 6" of clearance under the front of the GS, enough to place my Harbor Freight low profile long reach jack and attached Harbor Freight crossbeam under the front crossmember.
I then jack up the car and either place higher ramps under the wheels or jack stands. I then lower the car slowly and then remove the jack.
All this takes less than 5 mins.
Once I'm done my work I replace the jack, lift the car enough to remove the taller ramps or stands, and then put back the small 3" ramps. I then lower the car back onto those, slide the jack out completely, and reverse the car back of the small ramps . . . less than 5 mins again.
This has worked every time for me . . . but everyone seems to have their own system. Good Luck.
