Default How to do HVAC relearn on C6?

I have found a hundred threads for doing this on C5 and Tahoes, but nothing for a C6.

I had a cam installed, and the shop pulled the a/c. Now that it is back together there is cold air from the passenger side only.

I was told I needed to reset the blend door system. Everything I read said this is done by pulling the HVAC fuse for 5 minutes, then replacing it. I have done this twice and it did not work.

The fuse I pulled was for "HVAC, Power Sounder", located in the footwell just above the NPP exhaust fuse. The manual lists another HVAC fuse, "ISRVM, HVAC - electric inside rearview mirror, heating ventilation, air conditioning"... but there is no location given for this fuse and it is not on the fuse diagram.

Anyone know how to fix this?

The C6 has 3 HVAC fuses.
The main 40A HVAC fuse 28 in the engine compartment
HVAC /PWR SND 10A fuse found in the passenger footwell
ISRVM/HVAC fuse 10A also in the passenger footwell

I'm also reading the Service manual to see what steps are taken to reset the system. I will post if I find the answer for you.

Amazing. Thank you LV2TOUR. I was going off a low res image of the fuse diagram and the quality was so bad I couldn't read the ISRV fuse text. Going to try pulling all of these and see if that will get it to reindex.

Are you getting any trouble codes?

Here is the procedure and a schematic.

Good Luck

Ok followed those directions, which was what I had done earlier also. No change.

So now I'm thinking the blend door actuator must have failed.

It's very possible. At least the service manual will show you how to fix that.

Good luck

Had the same issue. Cold passenger, warm driver. Turned out to be low freon. Just a heads up.
