Another Deadly Crash
Read about another recent Corvette crash victim. In Las Vegas seems the driver of the 89 vette a 75 year old man lost control of his car and hit a curb and then the car ended up in a tree. all this while he was in a street race with a motorcycle. When are people going to learn to take it to the track. At 75 you think he would know better........

And racing a bike to boot! Can't win that one. But the street isn't the place to race!

That is a cold slap! If you truly believe that, why would you subscribe to this forum? No good business person subscribes to the idea that endorsing conduct that leads to the death of customers is a good business practice! Money be damned, dead folks don't spend much on car parts, nor do their families. Out of line characterization, IMHO.

How is this any responsibility of this site?
We all are grown-up; responsible for our own decisions, right?
Sheesh!

Metro news release on the crash does not indicate any motorcycle or street racing was involved. It says a 75-year-old driver of a 1989 Corvette lost control and struck a palm tree.

Sad thing to see. Ever since I got my Vette I've had numerous cars want to race me including stupid cars like Toyota Camrys and Hond Accords but mostly Mustangs. If I'm next to them at a light I just let them take off and make fools of themselves. It's tempting for sure to put them back in their place, but I refuse to take a chance of endangering my life or others. In a big city the odds of something bad happening is even worse. Want an even grudge match, then it's time to go to the track.
