C6 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
Cool but it's got nothing to do with a C6!

What year? How do you like automatic/turbo, up shifts, downshifts, etc? I have Q7 diesel. Tested new Cayenne S. Under aggressive driving the auto/turbo seemed very noticeable and bit distracting. Thinking maybe it was me.

It's a 2011, 4.8 ltr v8 non turbo 400hp with 38k miles garage kept woman owned. I believe the new S models are turbo v6?? Mine has the tiptronic 8 speed trans and it's got a sport mode which shifts at higher rpms. I haven't even tried the paddle shifters yet. The trans has a different feel as compared to say the corvette or my Toyota, hard to describe but very drivable responsive to aggressive driving. If your going to buy a new one go for the turbo v8!

And you are correct a Corvette is just a Chevy since Chevrolet is the parent company. And by that logic your new station wagon is just a V.W.

I like new cars and balked at the S price. Gave my wife the Q7 and bought a Sierra Denali 6.2L for me ($48k). A couple years in the truck (bus) and I will be ready for a Cayenne!
