Default Need recommendations for quarterpanel and rocker repair in so cal.

Driving up 5 south of Bakersfield, hit a piece of sheetmetal in lane. could not avoid. Put a large scatch in rocker panel and several behind tire on quarterpanel. Suggestions for repair or replace. Thanks.

You might want to consider going to wide body . The panels if you want come painted. Most likely your Vette can be repaired but we need to see pictures.

Above looks good but there are some others named by CF members, too. Beverly Hills Auto Body (http://www.bhautobodygroup.com); Seidner's Collision Center; European Motor Car Works in Costa Mesa; Marcos in Glendora retired but some of the staff went to Service King also in Glendora; even Selman Chev. dealer has been recommended.

The rockers are bonded onto the frame, replacement is complicated and expensive, repair is usually the better option.

I'm not a body shop guy and can't tell you about repairing that quarter panel or replacing it.

Hard to tell with those pictures but they do look very repairable.
