Wide Body going on base model inner fenders
Ok so I ordered a wide boy set for my base model vett. I have the rear wide inner fender set but i don't have the front. I bought the zr1 wide fenders but i have base model front inner fenders. I also have a GS/z06 front facia.
my question is if the bumper will line up with the fenders considering the inner fenders are base model?
help !>?

No, you will have a 1" gap that you should fill. There are various ways to fill the gap.
I was lucky and got gap fillers from Corvette Recycling for $99. Not sure if they still sell them.
I have heard that SS Vettes may have them. Otherwise you could pop rivet some urethane base board (trimmed to fit) or some other type of flexible plastic.
I added epoxy to mine so I could trim the fender edges (hidden underneath) so that the tires would not rub if I hit a big bump in the road.

Nice work. i had something like that in mind. how did your GS/Z06/ZR1 front facia alight with the fender? did you have to alter or change the bumper side brackets ?

If all you have is the fenders and front bumper, then you need to contact Gene of Cultrag (a forum vendor) to find out all of the parts that you will need.
Fender ducts and various other parts.

I misread your original post. The fenders and front bumper will line up just fine as long as you have wide body fenders (GS/Z06/ZR1) and wide body front bumper.
The 1" gap is from the front fender liner and the wider fenders.

Melting Slicks
Some have used garage door seals as fender liner extensions... There is a thread somewhere.
