I'm going from stock 2006 ls2 base model exhaust, changing to 2008 zo6 exhaust do I need 02 extensions for that and if so how long, thanks guys

You don't need extenders, since the sensor locations are only about a inch father away than what you have now (read have enough slack in the wires to reach the new locations easily).



Bottom'ish is what you have now for the o2 sensors location currently, and the pre-02 sensor locaton it on the back side of the manifold.

Ask your installer what he prefers. Just had this done on my 08 with a full Z06 exhaust and we used two extensions. I asked if unwrapping the tape would work and he preferred extensions.

I used extensions. The wires wouldn't reach unless I unwrapped them.
